Vericle Corporation provides a wide spectrum of services from Health Information Technology (Health IT) software development to medical billing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services in the US market. We are looking for a skilled and energetic HR Specialist to take on the comprehensive Human Resources responsibilities.  If you are passionate about recruiting and managing HR for knowledge workers in multiple specialties across multiple locations, you should apply for this position.  

 

This position requires a high level of 

  1. Autonomy, reporting to Global HR Manager and running an effective HR service for the entire company in India with employees located in multiple cities.  Must have strong business and HR acumen, including problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis.
  2. Learning, making steady improvements of the HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in Vericle India and then learning to navigate the regulatory and labor relations environments in several different countries including the Philippines and US as well as hiring experts in multiple industries.  High level of comfort with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean (measuring achievements and failures, learning relevant lessons, and adjusting the next set of goals).
  3. Teamwork, helping the managers in various departments to achieve their team-building goals, to create merit-based compensation policies, and build an effective and efficient Vericle workforce globally. Working together with the Accounting Department for timely payroll and interacting with legal advisors for compliance. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Participate in a continuous HR service improvement cycle by developing HR department goals, objectives and systems, producing weekly and monthly KPI reports, learning from both successes and failures and improving.
    2. Process all facets of Human Resources;
  •                Hiring
        1. Manage Job Openings and Job Posting globally using various job posting websites in relevant locations 
        2. Guide the interview process, conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate the interview progress
  •                Benefits and Compensation
        1. Manage payroll updates, leaves, bonus updates, new hires, and terminations using spreadsheets and paybooks
        2. Implements Company and Government Benefits
        3. Ensure timely payroll 
  •                Employee Relations
        1. Monitor employee performance, satisfaction, and progress
        2. Handle Disciplinary Cases
        3. Implement Employee Engagement
        4. Formulate Policy & Procedures
  •               Employee Movements
        1. Manage employee onboarding and termination processes
        2. Processing of Promotions, Appraisal and Contracts
  •               Compliance with Government Agencies
      1. Responsible for statutory compliance
      2. Develop a solid understanding of Labor related laws and statutes.

  

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources Department
  2. In-depth knowledge of Philippine of Labour Laws 
  3. Excellent listening, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  4. Excellent skills in using google documents (docs, spreadsheet, slides)
  5. Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
